Updates for the blog and such.

29 10 2009

Yeah, well I was sick today.

Sore throat, and my stomach was killing me yesterday, so I took a nap for like an hour and woke up feeling okay.

But this morning, I got a sore throat. So yeah.

Other than that…

I was bored today, because all that was on TV this morning was a bunch of young kid stuff. So I stared to watch MTV and got into this show called “Degrassi: Next Generation”. I watched two episodes, but then I was bored enough to come onto wordpress and decided to update some stuff.

I changed my header because I’ve been wanting to do that for a long time and finally figured out how to make my own…Which I am starting to get “okay” at. I still suck at it, but I try to do my best. My new icon (or avatar, you may call it), is now a picture of some type of…Creature. He’s also on my header too, so I decided to make that guy part of the site.

Also, you may be asking me about the whole quote about “don’t let life get in the way of living life”. Well, I came up with that a couple days ago in math class when I was done with my classwork, and I started doodling in my notebook and came up with that quote.

The reason I wrote that quote is because it means that don’t let the drama or sadness of you’re life interfere with you’re own life. I try to not let drama get in the way of living life, but sometimes it’s hard to ignore it. But, hey, that’s life, I guess. :P

I’m pondering (thinking) if I should change my theme for the blog, but I’ve been comfortable with the “freshy” or “fresh” theme ever since the beginning of my blog. And plus, if I change the theme, I also have to change my header, which I really don’t want to do, considering I like my new header.

I’ve also been trying to delete most of my old CP stuff, except for my Cheats and Glitches page, cuz that has a majority of comments on my site. I’m definetely not taking down my Stickied Post, either: it has like 50 comments on it, not to mention that’s the most comments I’ve ever had on a post… XD I might just change what I write in the post because I don’t even remember why I put the Stickied Post on there in the first place.

Well, now that I’ve told you about the updates that might be on my blog…Time to talk about some cool stuff, like music or books, etc.

As you might know, I’ve been reading a lot of manga in my life, ever since the beginning of the summer, which is now over. I’ve read like 100 manga books now…It’s an addiction I have. I’m now reading a series called “Bleach” which is actually quite interesting.

It’s about a boy whom is a Soul Reaper, a person who destroys Hollows (bad souls), and his adventures of being a Soul Reaper. I also watch the Anime very late at night, and I’m currently at episode…156, I think. I’m way past where I am in the manga than where I am in the anime, and I’m going to read Volume 20 the next time I buy it.

The thing is, since I’ve been watching the anime, I know what’s going to happen. The arc of Ichigo (the boy Soul Reaper I mentioned earlier) where he is trying to save Rukia ends in I think Volume 21. And what I’m pretty disappointed at, is that in Volume 22, Orihime, his friend that has Spirit Powers as well, is kidnapped by a group of Arrancars, the enemies of Soul Reapers. It’s like the whole Soul Society (the arc in the series where Rukia, Ichigo’s friend and reason for him becoming a Soul Reaper, is going to be executed and was kidnapped) arc again. And that arc lasted like 14 Volumes, and I dunno how long this arc is going to last.

Even though this arc is supposed to have awesome fights and awesome characters, I’m still disappointed that it’s the whole “damzel-in-distress” arc again. In the Bleach manga, my favorite Soul Reaper character is Toshiro Hitsugaya, a Soul Reaper captain in the Soul Society. My favorite human person that has spiritual powers is Chad, and my favorite Arrancar, (who I haven’t even seen in the manga yet, but in the anime XD ) is either Grimmjow or Ulquiorra Cifer (I know, hard name to spell).

Now for the music update…

My favorite songs of this week and the last week is this one Japaneese song, (I think I’ve already told you about this but I’m not sure), is called After Dark, by Asian Kung Fu Generation. I’ve listened to this song like 1 million times…It’s great. My favorite English songs as of now is this one song called Fireflies by Owl City. Although, it sounds a LOT like West-coast Friendship, which is also by Owl City…So, yeah. I don’t like it when musicians do that. It’s just like the Bleach “damzel-in-distress” arcs all over again XD

Well…Yeah. That’s pretty much an update for you guys. I think I’m going to be posting more often and might try to get the word of my blog out into the world so I can get more hits. But this is starting to be out a REALLY long post…like a WAY too long of a post…it’s 900+ words as of now…Uh-oh.

Peace…

“110%…Feels like you’re a god.”

18 10 2009

Hey.

For the past weeks, at the end of the day in the back of my head I have a thought telling me I need to blog. But I never get the motivation because I couldn’t find a topic to talk about, but I just thought of one while I was on the computer…So I thought I might as well drop by, so prepare to run away when you read this :P

Have you ever pushed youreself past you’re limit? Like, for you’re strength limit, example: you have a certain purpose to hold or carry something, and yet you know that you can’t carry on much longer; but somehow, you’re able to push past you’re limit and go 110%?

Going past you’re limit is pretty much only for physical tasks, not many mental tasks are being pushed past you’re limit, but it’s possible. Me, being a lover to run for fun and be free, my running comes in handy. Say, when I’m late for a class or I need to get to the bus, I begin to run faster than usual.

For example, about three weeks ago I had missed the bus because I had forgotten to pack one of my school stuff that I needed. The bus was set to leave in about 2 minutes; didn’t have much time.

As I ran back into my school building, I was spirnting up the stairs, swirling my combination lock open, taking out my binder and shoving it into my backpack, as I would sprint down the stairs as fast as I could, with about a 3 lb backpack on my back, full of school binders and homework.

I pushed open the front doors of my school building, only to see the busses were out of the bus lane and stopped at a red-light, just exiting my school. I sprinted across the parking lot and towards the front of the school, on to the lawn and I was right across the street from my bus, staring at my bus driver.

She wouldn’t let me on the bus, but I guess it was because it was some rule, of course, so it wasn’t entirely the bus driver’s fault. Even though I was pissed, I watched, standing there on the lawn, as the red light turned green, and the busses passed the red light, people looking at me and waving, shouting my name.

Even though I had gone 110% with that rush of adrenaline pumping through me, I had missed the bus, but had caught up with it. Weird, huh? Maybe I missed the bus, but I realized after that…My legs didn’t feel a bit tired with this 3 lb backpack on my back, using 110% and going past my limit of usual speed running, I could still stand and wasn’t tired a bit at all, and I wasn’t even out of breath.

But I realized, that when you’re going 110%, you feel like a god, able to have as much strength as you want to be able to fulfill you’re task. I felt like I had wings on my back when I had ran through those halls and out the doors, sprinting to the lawns of my school.

So, I’ve learned to try not to give up and go past my limits in order to complete the task that I face. What I’m saying is, don’t give up, even if you didn’t catch that bus; you were still able to catch up with it.

Well, well, I guess I’m done here for another 2 months or so. I might post back in January, December, or June…Whatever, I guess. Nobody even reads my posts anymore, so there’s really no motivation at all…But, hey, if you’re reading this, thanks, and Happy Halloween, and just incase I miss these holidays: Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Hannukah, Merry Chrismas (forgot how to spell it at the moment), and Happy New Year! (Or any other holidays that are in other countries.)
